Jacob Assa holds a Ph.D. in economics from The New School for Social Research. He attended Hunter College (CUNY) for his undergraduate studies, and has been working as a statistician and economist for almost two decades. In his current research, he explores the treatment of financial services in the national accounts as well as some empirical applications and policy implications of adjusted measures of economic activity.
